Position: NPD Engineer

Qualification: DME or BE

Experience: Min. 6 years.

Salary:25,000 to 40,000/-

MS office Proficiency:

Good knowledge of MS Excel, Power point & word

Additional Qualification Preferred:

Tool Design, 6 Sigma, SolidWorks modelling

Core Responsibilities:

• Drawing and Process knowledge : Should be familiar in understanding the component drawings and define the appropriate machining process based on drawing requirements.
• Part Programming : Should be well versed with manual and Mastercam programming.
• Tooling knowledge : Should be able to choose the appropriate cutting tools for the best machining parameters.
• Work Holding knowledge : Should be able decide on the fixture or suitable work holding device requirements to obtain the best accuracies on the machined part.
• Machine Operation: Should have hands on experience in programming and operating all types of CNC machines (VMC,HMC, CNC Lathe, VTl & Turnmill) with Fanuc / Mitsubishi control system.
• Quality Control: Conducting first-piece inspections and ensuring that finished products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Preparation of Process sheets: Should be able to prepare Process sheet as per process plan after completion of trials.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all operations adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve machining processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. •Documentation: Process sheets, Quality control Plans, Setup sheet preparations.
• Project Management: Overseeing specific projects related to CNC machining, such as implementing new technologies or optimizing production workflows and completing within planned dates.
