Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced North Indian Cook to prepare authentic North Indian dishes with traditional flavors and techniques. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cooking a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian North Indian cuisines, maintain kitchen hygiene, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of North Indian dishes such as dal, sabzi, curries, biryani, tandoori items, and Indian breads (roti, naan, paratha, etc.) Follow traditional recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times Manage kitchen inventory and inform management of any stock shortages Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly Monitor food preparation and portions to minimize waste Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Work with other kitchen staff and help train junior cooks if needed Requirements: Proven experience as a North Indian Cook (minimum 2–3 years preferred) Strong knowledge of North Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques Ability to work independently and handle kitchen operations Good time-management and organizational skills Physical stamina to work in a hot kitchen environment for long hours Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in hotels, restaurants, or catering services Familiarity with other regional Indian cuisines is a plus Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene regulations
