Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities of a Non-IT Recruiter1. Understanding Job Requirements

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific role requirements.
  • Prepare or update job descriptions and specifications.
  • Understand industry-specific terminology and skills for non-technical roles.

2. Sourcing Candidates

  • Use job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed) to find candidates.
  • Maintain a candidate database and talent pipeline.
  • Network through events, referrals, and social media.

3. Screening and Shortlisting

  • Review resumes to match qualifications, experience, and skills.
  • Conduct initial screening via calls or video interviews.
  • Shortlist suitable candidates for client or internal review.

4. Interview Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers or clients.
  • Provide candidates with necessary details (date, time, format, expectations).
  • Gather and provide interview feedback.

5. Candidate Management

  • Communicate regularly with candidates about their application status.
  • Educate them about the role, company culture, and career path.
  • Negotiate salary expectations and ensure alignment with the company budget.

6. Client/Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Share candidate profiles and updates with clients or department heads.
  • Consult with clients on market trends and hiring strategies.

7. Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain proper records of candidate interactions and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Handle offer letters, joining formalities, and background checks (if applicable).

8. Reporting and Analytics

  • Track recruitment metrics like time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
  • Prepare recruitment status reports for management.

9. Employer Branding

  • Represent the company professionally in the job market.
  • Promote the organization’s culture and values to potential hires.

10. Support Onboarding (Optional)

  • Help facilitate a smooth joining process.
  • Assist in pre-boarding formalities like documentation and induction scheduling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,881.75 - ₹41,217.47 per month
