Position: Assistant Manager Nominated Quality Assurance (QA) Location: Bangalore Department: QA & Technical Experience Required: 5 to 10 years in the Apparel industry Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering or a related field No. of Openings: 1 Position Overview We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Nominated QA to ensure the highest quality standards in garment manufacturing. The role involves end-to-end quality oversight from sampling to shipment, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Key Responsibilities Understand and implement buyer manuals; clear buyer certifications/tests Upload reports and maintain documentation on buyer websites Monitor and enforce quality at every stage of manufacturing Participate from sampling to shipment stage Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions Train team members on quality standards and practices Maintain quality audit reports and track performance through data analysis Conduct internal quality audits and ensure compliance with standards Collaborate with sampling, bulk sewing, and production teams Troubleshoot issues and drive quality improvements Requirements Education & Experience: Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering or related field 510 years in a similar QA role in the apparel industry Strong knowledge of quality systems and buyer standards (AQL, ISO, ASTM, etc.) Technical Skills: Deep understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes Proficient in quality inspection tools and defect classification Data analysis and root cause analysis expertise Soft Skills: High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability Effective communicator with good documentation skills Able to guide and influence teams toward quality excellence Works well under pressure and meets deadlines Reporting To: Head – QA & Technical Age Preference: Around 30–35 years Gender: Open to all Interested candidates can apply by sending their resume to [thanuja@delighthr.com] with the subject line: “Application for AM – Nominated Quality Assurance”
