Node.js Developer

As a Node.js Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services using Node.js. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services using Node.js. - Building and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs. - Working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Writing clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices. - Implementing authentication and authorization using JWT/OAuth. - Integrating third-party APIs and services. - Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate APIs with UI applications. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving performance issues. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to architecture discussions. - Working in Agile/Scrum teams and participating in sprint planning. - Ensuring application security, scalability, and reliability. In addition to the key responsibilities, the ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred). - Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL database concepts. - Knowledge of asynchronous programming, promises, and async/await. - Experience with Git and version control. - Good understanding of API design, middleware, and microservices concepts. - Experience with package managers like npm or yarn.
