Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain

  high-performance, reusable, and reliable backend code

• Develop and maintain

  RESTful APIs

  using

  Express, NestJS, or other Express-based frameworks

• Integrate data storage solutions including

  SQL and NoSQL databases

  , key-value stores, and blob storage
• Implement

  security best practices

  and data protection mechanisms
• Write

  unit tests

  to ensure robustness, reliability, and performance of code
• Document code, APIs, and functionalities for maintainability
  
• Participate in architectural decisions to support

  scalable and high-performance systems

• Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and fix bugs effectively
  
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members for seamless integration
  

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of

  object-oriented software design principles

• Hands-on experience with

  JavaScript

  and backend development using

  Node.js

• Strong experience with

  Express, NestJS

  , or other Express-based frameworks
• Good understanding of

  database schema design, data modeling, and ORMs

• Hands-on experience with at least one

  SQL database (PostgreSQL)

  and one

  NoSQL database (MongoDB)

• Experience integrating

  third-party SDKs, APIs, and libraries

• Proficient understanding of

  Git

  and version control practices
