Role Overview

We are looking for a Node.js Developer Intern to assist in building and maintaining backend systems and APIs for web applications. This internship provides hands-on experience in server-side development, database integration, and API management. Ideal for students or freshers who are passionate about backend development and eager to grow their skills in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver full-stack features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions
• Learn and follow Agile development practices

Skills & Requirements

• Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Understanding of databases (MongoDB or MySQL preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Git / GitHub
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Must have own laptop/system capable of running development tools efficiently
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to frontend technologies like React.js or Next.js
• Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines
