Role Overview:

NOC Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage NOC engineers across 24/7 shifts.
• Oversee incident response, escalation flows, and shift handovers.
• Define and enforce SOPs, runbooks, and monitoring best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in alert handling, documentation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams for seamless escalation and faster resolution.
• Track and report on KPIs (MTTR, FRT, SLA compliance, ticket quality).
• Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, and operational audits.
• Own NOC hiring, onboarding, and cultural discipline.

Candidate Profile:

Experience: 6 10 years in IT Operations/NOC/Infrastructure support, with at least 34 years in a team lead/supervisory role or Sr Site Reliability Engineer.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Zabbix, etc.).
• Solid foundation in Linux/Windows servers, networking basics, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiar with scripting (Python, Shell) and automation concepts (Terraform, Ansible).

Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to manage 24/7 operations, enforce accountability, and handle shift management effectively.
• Strong incident management skills, with clear communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Applies a data-driven approach to drive operational excellence and process improvements, while demonstrating decisive leadership and people management under pressure.

Education:

Bachelors/ master’s in computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
