ZAG NEWS is hiring a dedicated and talented Malayalam News Reporter to join our expanding newsroom. This is a full-time, permanent, work-from-office position. We are specifically looking for female candidates with strong Malayalam writing skills and a passion for digital journalism.

Responsibilities

• Cover breaking news, local stories, political updates, and trending topics.
• Write clear, accurate, and SEO-optimized Malayalam news articles.
• Conduct interviews, collect information, verify facts, and perform field reporting when required.
• Track social media trends and viral content and convert them into publish-ready stories.
• Coordinate with editors to ensure accuracy and timely publishing.
• Suggest new story ideas to increase traffic and engagement.
• Maintain journalistic ethics, credibility, and accuracy at all times.

Requirements

• Excellent Malayalam writing and speaking skills (mandatory).
• Ability to write fast, crisp, and engaging digital news content.
• Basic knowledge of SEO for news publishing.
• Good understanding of Kerala politics, current affairs, and trending topics.
• Must be willing to work full-time from the office.
• Female candidates only (mandatory).
• Freshers can apply if writing skills are strong.
• Experience with WordPress or online publishing is an added advantage.
