You will be responsible for researching local community, state, national, and international current events. This includes meeting with the news director, reporters, and other news anchors to be briefed on the day's news. Collaboration with the news director will be essential in choosing stories to broadcast, considering audience preferences. Your role will also involve interpreting and presenting news stories in a way that helps viewers or listeners better understand them. During broadcasts, you will interact with reporters on the air, conduct live interviews with experts for additional information or opinions, and investigate stories. Gathering, verifying, and analyzing data from various sources will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will present the news to viewers in a professional, calm, and friendly manner while ensuring that your appearance represents the face of the network. Your active participation in helping to formulate news stories by pitching ideas and providing feedback on content will be highly valued. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and the opportunity for a performance bonus. The work location will be in person.,
