Job Description

We are looking for a confident, dynamic, and presentable News Anchor to join our newsroom team at MH One TV Network Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a clear on-screen presence, and the ability to deliver news with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Present news stories, live bulletins, and special programs in a clear and engaging manner.

- Research, verify, and understand news stories before presenting.

- Conduct live interviews, panel discussions, and on-ground reporting when required.

- Work closely with the editorial team, producers, and reporters to ensure smooth broadcast flow.

- Read scripts accurately and adapt quickly during breaking news situations.

- Coordinate with the production team for show formatting, cues, and timing.

- Maintain on-screen discipline, grooming standards, and broadcasting ethics.

- Stay updated with current events, trending stories, and regional news.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field (preferred).

- Prior experience as a news anchor or reporter in a TV news channel is an advantage.

- Excellent command over Hindi/Punjabi (as per channel requirement) with strong articulation.

- Confident camera presence and clear voice modulation.

- Ability to work under pressure, especially during breaking news.

- Strong editorial judgement and communication skills.

- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and live situations.
