New Zealand Travel Consultant

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable New Zealand Travel Consultant to assist customers with travel planning, itinerary creation, bookings, and travel-related queries for New Zealand. The candidate must have strong destination knowledge, customer-handling skills, and experience in travel reservations.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Handle customer queries related to travel to New Zealand (flights, hotels, packages, tours, and activities).

• • Create customised itineraries, holiday packages, and travel plans.

• • Provide accurate information on visa requirements, documentation, and travel guidelines.

• • Manage reservations, bookings, cancellations, reissues, and modifications.

• • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, vendors, and other travel partners.

• • Communicate travel options, prices, and available upgrades clearly and professionally.

• • Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain client satisfaction.

• • Meet monthly sales and performance targets.

• • Provide post-booking assistance (support during travel, emergency changes, etc.).

• • Stay updated with New Zealand travel trends, restrictions, and tourism updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• • Minimum 1 to 2years of experience as a Travel Consultant (New Zealand specialization preferred).

• • Strong knowledge of New Zealand destinations, routes, attractions, and travel products.

• • Hands-on experience with GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).

• • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

• • Ability to create detailed itineraries and customized holiday packages.

• • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

• • Good sales and upselling ability.

• • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Experience in New Zealand visa assistance.

• • Knowledge of hotel portals (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda).

• • Experience working in a travel BPO or agency.
