Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Feasibility Assessment:

a. Conduct feasibility studies for new product concepts, including technical and cost analysis.
b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the practicality and manufacturability of designs.

2. Tooling Concept

a. Develop and apply tooling concepts that optimize product design and manufacturing processes.

3. Project Tracking:

a. Monitor and track project progress against timelines and milestones.
b. Identify and address potential issues or delays, ensuring timely resolution.

4. APQP Documentation and Processes:

a. Prepare and maintain comprehensive APQP documentation, including FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) reports.
b. Ensure compliance with APQP procedures and standards throughout the product development lifecycle.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

a. Work with design, manufacturing, quality, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of product development activities.

6. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in product development.
