Qualifications

• MBBS + MD (Internal Medicine) / DNB
• DM / DNB in Neurology (mandatory)
• Valid medical registration and licensing

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Neurologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong diagnostic skills in neurological disorders
• Experience using EEG, EMG, NCS, MRI, CT, and other neuro-diagnostic tools
• Competence in managing acute neurological conditions
• Excellent communication and patient-counselling abilities

Roles & ResponsibilitiesClinical Care

• Diagnose and treat neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, neuropathies, migraines, movement disorders, dementia, etc.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient neurological care
• Perform and interpret neuro-diagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, NCS)

Emergency Management

• Attend neurological emergencies including stroke, seizures, head injuries, etc.
• Collaborate with emergency and ICU teams for critical cases

Consultation & Follow-Up

• Conduct routine OPD consultations
• Manage ongoing treatment plans and follow-up care
• Coordinate with other specialists for multidisciplinary patient management

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure adherence to medical protocols and ethical standards
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement programs

Patient Education

• Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care
• Promote awareness about neurological health
