Networking Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated Networking Trainee to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is perfect for candidates from any IT educational background who wish to build a career in networking, IT support, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN issues.
• Help monitor network performance and identify connectivity issues.
• Support tasks involving IP addressing, subnetting, and basic network design.
• Participate in cabling, hardware setup, and system installations.
• Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations and IT assets.
• Follow IT security guidelines and ensure network hygiene.
• Coordinate with IT team members for smooth day-to-day operations.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts: OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, etc.
• Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and common network topologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Good communication, logical thinking, and willingness to learn.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Training or certification in CCNA / Network+ / MCSA is a plus.
• Exposure to network monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of cabling and hardware installation.
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts.

Educational Qualification

• Any IT Background Accepted, including but not limited to:
• BCA / MCA
• B.Sc IT / B.Sc Computer Science
• B.Tech / B.E (Any IT or Computer-related branch)
• Diploma in Computer / IT / Networking
• Any IT-related certification courses
