Job Description Responsibilities : Perform Network Administration Functions, To Include Manage a distributed network comprised of Cisco firewalls and routers comprised of 2130 ASAs, 1150 FPR, and IR 829s Manage Juniper enterprise switches and other vendor switches Implement access controls, firewall rules, and VLANS for networks Set up and manage VPNs across Cisco devices Administer and maintain Windows domain environments, to include : Managing an Active Directory forest Setting up and managing Group Policies managing DNS Setting up and managing a root CA in a closed network Manage and maintain virtual environments using VMware Experience with vSphere and vCenter desired Provide support and troubleshooting for network and system issues Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of systems and services Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches Document network configurations, procedures, and policies Provide training and support to end-users as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Expertise in Cisco networking, including configuration and troubleshooting Experience with Windows domain administration Desired experience with VMware Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, or equivalent Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
