Network Security Senior Support Engineer

As a Network Security Senior Support Engineer at TeKnowledge, your role involves providing expert technical assistance across various networking technologies, with a focus on Symantec solutions. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and offering guidance and escalation support to Level 2 engineers. Your technical knowledge will be crucial in understanding the impact of issues or proposed changes on the security posture of organizations. Your responsibilities include: - Acting as a trusted advisor to the company's customers - Troubleshooting technical issues within complex customer environments and providing innovative solutions - Prioritizing work based on general direction from managers and taking ownership of the complete customer experience - Demonstrating accountability, sense of urgency, and frequent communication with stakeholders - Driving timely resolution of cases, contributing to customer retention, renewal, and adoption - Participating in regional and global projects and constantly seeking to improve customer service skills Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors degree and 8+ years of related experience, with a Masters degree considered a plus - Experience in technical support, customer relationship management, and ESG Network Security - Knowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals and experience with enterprise-grade cyber security products like Symantec Endpoint Security - Hands-on experience with technologies such as Active Directory, TCP/IP, Routing, Windows OS, Virtualization, and more - Working knowledge in Firewall, Proxy, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, PKI, Wireshark, Netmon, and other technologies is a plus - Recognized Cyber Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CASP+, SSCP, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, etc. - Sponsored certifications including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, and Symantec Certified Specialist TeKnowledge is an equal opportunity employer committed to celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion.
