Network Security Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Aruba solutions. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall configurations to ensure network security. - Implement and manage VPN solutions using Palo Alto GlobalProtect, Fortinet FortiGate, and FortiManager. - Configure and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security policies for network access control and threat prevention. - Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and mitigate potential risks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions meeting business requirements. - Perform software upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks on Palo Alto and Fortinet devices. - Develop and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams and configurations. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for network-related issues. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to network security. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Aruba technologies. - Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and TCP/IP fundamentals. - Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewall platforms. - Proficiency in configuring VPNs, SSL decryption, IPS, and application-level security features. - Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. - Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Relevant certifications like PCNSE (Palo Alto) and Fortinet NSE are a plus. - Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to network performance improvement. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
