Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at Trivandrum, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining networking systems to ensure seamless connectivity and secure data communication across internal and client environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other networking systems. - Install, support, and manage network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. - Implement and maintain network security protocols, VPNs, and firewall rules. - Assist with the setup and management of internet and intranet connections. - Perform regular network backups, firmware upgrades, and system updates. - Maintain network documentation and ensure accurate records of network devices and configurations. - Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients when necessary. - Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for procurement and service support. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure roles. - Experience in installation of LAN, Switch, firewall configuration. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Experience with configuring routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco/Mikrotik/Fortinet preferred). - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities. - Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
