Job Description

Monitor, analyze, and maintain global SD-WAN infrastructure & enterprise networks using NOC monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix & Meraki Dashboard)
Respond to network incidents and performance degradations, performing L2 troubleshooting across SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, VOIP, Perimeter and VPN environments.
Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal network engineering teams for incident escalation and resolution.
Perform proactive link performance analysis, identify chronic network issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24x7 support coverage as part of the NOC operations model.
Support and optimize routing policies (BGP, OSPF) and QoS configurations to ensure traffic prioritization and SLA adherence.
Generate performance and availability reports and contribute to incident trend analysis and problem management reviews.
Technical Skills
5+ years of experience with event logging & network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG & Splunk.
3+ years of experience with SD-WAN solutions (Meraki, Viptela, Versa etc)
2+ years of experience with Meraki appliances (MX, MS)
Experience with any one of CSPs (Azure , AWS or GCP) Deep understanding of the OSI model & Solid knowledge of TCP/IP
Experience with packet captures and analysis with Wireshark.
Key skills for L2 protocols are Spanning Tree modes PVST+, RSTP, LACP, 802.1q, VTP, VLAN, ARP & EtherChannel
