Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in routing and switching, access control, DHCP/DNS, and hands-on expertise managing Aruba and Fortinet firewalls. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network architecture, security principles, and performance optimization, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructures.

You will be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance and reliability, enforcing security best practices, and supporting enterprise-level connectivity across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain routing and switching infrastructure using Juniper (Junos OS: EX/QFX/MX series) and Aruba networking solutions (switches, wireless).
• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, SD-WAN, and advanced threat protection.
• Support and optimize wireless environments using Aruba and Juniper Mist solutions.
• (Nice to Have) Configure and manage Aruba ClearPass for AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) services.
• Administer core network services including DHCP, DNS, and IP Address Management (IPAM).
• Configure and support dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and Layer 2/3 technologies (VLANs, STP, VXLAN).
• Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Juniper Mist, and Wireshark.
• Enforce network security through Zero Trust models, segmentation, and access control policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex network issues and outages.
• Automate routine tasks using Python, Ansible, or SDN-based tools, where applicable.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and change management records.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network incidents and ensure timely resolution.

Require Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Juniper routers/switches (Junos OS) and Aruba networking platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Strong understanding of core network protocols and services (DHCP, DNS, IPAM).
• Knowledge of network security best practices including VPNs, IPSec, Zero Trust, and Network Access Control (NAC).
• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SNMP, NetFlow).
• (Preferred) Scripting or automation skills using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• (Preferred) Experience with Aruba ClearPass for policy-based access control.
• (Preferred) Relevant certifications, such as:
• Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP)
• Aruba (ACMA, ACCP, ACSP)
• Fortinet (NSE 4/5/6)
• Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldor equivalent professional experience.
