Job Description

You will be a key member of the team at Comcast, responsible for ensuring the Company's internet protocol network and transport infrastructure meet the requirements of the Converged Regional Area Network (CRAN). Your duties will include providing technical advice and support for the real-time analysis, control, and operation of the Converged Regional Area Network and Commercial network devices. This will involve executing existing test plans, interfacing with Network Engineering to maintain the integrity of the test bed area, and testing and certifying configurations, hardware, and new features before deployment. - Provide technical Tier 5 support for network problems and simulate network issues - Work with vendors on new product releases - Maintain accurate records and documentation of all tests and certifications - Keep stakeholders informed of the progress and status of work activities and business issues - Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters - Regular attendance, including ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as needed - Bachelor's Degree is required; consideration may be given to applicants with a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience At Comcast, all employees are expected to embody Operating Principles, prioritize the customer experience, stay informed and enthusiastic about technology and services, collaborate effectively as part of a team, contribute to the Net Promoter System, drive results and growth, promote inclusion and diversity, and act with integrity in all interactions.
