Network Engineer - Cisco SDWAN Migration Specialist

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the planning, design, and execution of the migration from Cisco Viptela SDWAN to Cisco Meraki SDWAN/SASE. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration and deployment of Meraki SDWAN solutions. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting network assessments and audits to pinpoint potential challenges and optimize migration strategies. Configuring and managing Meraki SDWAN devices to guarantee optimal performance and security will be a key part of your role. You will also be expected to provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process. Furthermore, developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and migration plans, will be essential. Your role will also involve training and mentoring junior network engineers on Meraki SDWAN technologies and best practices. It is imperative to stay abreast of the latest developments in SDWAN and SASE technologies to ensure the implementation of best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the migration from Cisco Viptela SDWAN to Cisco Meraki SDWAN/SASE - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration - Conduct network assessments and audits - Configure and manage Meraki SDWAN devices - Provide technical support and troubleshooting - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation - Train and mentor junior network engineers - Stay updated with the latest SDWAN and SASE technologies Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on SDWAN technologies - Proven experience with Meraki Switches, Mist Wireless, Zscaler, Cisco Viptela SDWAN, and Cisco Meraki SDWAN/SASE - Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching - Experience with network security principles and practices - Excellent problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Meraki certifications are highly desirable In addition to the above, you will be expected to provide exceptional client service by responding promptly and professionally across communication channels.
