Network Engineer

As a Data Center Network Engineer with over 7 years of experience, your role will involve managing and implementing large-scale Cisco data center networks, with a focus on Cisco ACI, Nexus switching platforms, and VxLAN-EVPN fabric deployments. Your hands-on expertise and troubleshooting capabilities in mission-critical environments will play a crucial role in your success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco Nexus-based Data Center networks. - Implement and support VXLAN-EVPN fabrics on Nexus 2K/3K/5K/7K/9K platforms. - Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and operational support for Cisco ACI fabrics. - Manage ACI Single-Pod environments; exposure to Multi-Pod and Multi-Site architectures is a plus. - Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 network issues and escalate as necessary. - Utilize Nexus Dashboard for monitoring and management where applicable. - Document network designs, topologies, and configurations. - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for network enhancement and integration projects. Qualifications Required: - Cisco Certification CCNP/CCIE preferred. - 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center Networking. - Deep expertise in Cisco Nexus Switches 2K, 3K, 5K, 7K, 9K. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in VXLAN-EVPN configuration and support. - Design experience in VXLAN-EVPN is a plus. - Proven experience in deploying and managing Cisco ACI: - Single-Pod deployments (mandatory). - Multi-Pod and Multi-Site experience is advantageous. - Familiarity with Nexus Dashboard for operational tasks (preferred). - Solid understanding of Routing and Switching Protocols, including: - IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, LACP, VLAN. - Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in testing, validation, and root cause analysis. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and handle high-pressure scenarios, and a proactive attitude towards learning emerging data center technologies.,
