Role Overview: As a Network Architect based in Chennai on a contract basis, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in areas such as networking & data center, security, cloud & virtualization, load balancing & application delivery, and automation & tooling. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement networking solutions using Cisco ACI Spine/Leaf, Nexus, Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, and other relevant technologies. - Configure and manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and implement QoS, VXLAN, L2VPN/L3VPN. - Ensure network security by working with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate, and Check Point R77/R80+. - Implement Zero Trust principles including micro-segmentation, least privilege, and identity integration. - Deploy and manage cloud services on Azure and AWS platforms, including VNets, ExpressRoute, NSG, VPC, Transit Gateway, WAF, and CloudFront. - Work with virtualization technologies such as VMware NSX, VMWare SDN, and Kubernetes networking. - Configure and manage load balancing solutions using F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix NetScaler, and Radware Alteon. - Utilize automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, and ServiceNow ITSM. - Follow ITIL, Agile, and PMP/Prince2-aligned project delivery methodologies. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies and protocols. - Proficiency in network security solutions from leading vendors. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies and container networking. - Proficiency in automation tools and IT service management platforms.
