Job Summary:
The Network Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organizations network infrastructure. This role ensures optimal network performance, security, and availability for users across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain network systems including LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Troubleshoot network performance issues and ensure high availability and reliability.

Configure, install, and upgrade network hardware and software.

Perform regular network performance tests and security audits.

Analyze network traffic and usage to identify potential improvements.

Assist in designing and implementing network solutions based on organizational needs.

Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure upgrades and cybersecurity initiatives.

Respond to network outages and provide technical support to end-users.

Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Network Analyst, Network Engineer, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios).

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).

Understanding of VPNs, VLANs, and cloud networking.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Strong communication and documentation abilities.
