Role & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support

  LAN, WAN, and internet systems or a segment of a network system.

• Monitor network performance

  , availability, and security using network monitoring tools.

• Maintain and administer

  routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices.

• Implement and manage

  network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

• Perform network troubleshooting

  to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.

• Manage IP address allocation

  , DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations.

• Work with service providers

  for leased lines, MPLS, broadband, or fiber link issues.

• Maintain documentation

  of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.

• Coordinate with other IT teams

  to ensure seamless integration of systems.

• Plan and implement

  network upgrades and maintenance activities.

• Support disaster recovery

  planning and implementation related to networking.

• Respond to network-related

  alerts, incidents, and service requests.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 35 years

  of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding

  of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

• Experience with network hardware

  (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).

• Proficiency in configuring

  and managing firewalls, routers, and switches.

• Familiarity with Wi-Fi management

  and network access control systems.

• Working knowledge

  of network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).

• Strong troubleshooting

  and analytical skills.

• Good communication

  and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently

  and as part of a team, including in a 24x7 environment if required.
