As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network devices such as Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Dell Switches. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing and managing network protocols including VPC (Virtual Port Channel), HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol), and STP (Spanning Tree Protocol). - Configuring and maintaining network device security settings, including UTM and Firewall devices (preferably SonicWall and FortiGate). - Setting up and troubleshooting VPN connections to ensure secure remote access. - Designing and implementing network security solutions tailored to customer requirements. - Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues. - Using automation tools for network deployment and configuration management. - Diagnosing and resolving customer-reported network problems or configuration issues within agreed SLAs. - Conducting technical reviews and maintaining accurate network documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience in network administration and support. - Strong hands-on experience with network devices such as Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Dell Switches. - Proficiency in configuring and managing VPC, HSRP, STP, and related network protocols. - Experience with UTM and Firewall configuration and maintenance (SonicWall, FortiGate preferred). - Skills in VPN setup and troubleshooting. - Good understanding of network security principles and best practices. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and automation for deployments. - Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. - Ability to create detailed network design and technical documentation. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively to international locations as required.
