Job Title: Network Administrator Department: IT / Network Support Location: Indore Job Type: Full-time Experience: 2-3 years Notice Period: 0-15 days (immediate joiners preferred) Work Arrangement: On-site (Work from Office) Job Summary: Advantal Technologies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Network Administrator to assist in the day-to-day management and support of our network infrastructure. This entry-level position is ideal for someone starting their career in IT networking and looking to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You will support senior staff in maintaining the performance, security, and reliability of our local and wide area networks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software. Monitor network performance and help identify and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues. Provide first-level support for network-related user issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and access control. Support the management of network tools and services such as DNS, DHCP, and firewalls. Help maintain network documentation, including diagrams, asset lists, and change logs. Perform routine network maintenance and system updates under guidance. Participate in system backups, patching, and disaster recovery testing. Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technologies and improve network efficiency. Requirements: Education & Experience: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a related technical role (internships count). Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching). Familiarity with network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, access points). Understanding of Windows and/or Linux environments. Exposure to network monitoring and ticketing systems is a plus. Coursework or certifications such as CompTIA Network+ , Cisco CCNA (in progress or completed) is a strong advantage. Soft Skills: Strong desire to learn and develop professionally. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear verbal and written communication. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or with supervision. Team-oriented with a proactive attitude. Working Conditions: May require lifting and moving hardware (switches, routers, etc.). Willingness to work flexible hours if needed (e.g., for maintenance windows).
