Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite ERP Integration Specialist to lead customer implementations, configure integration workflows, and provide technical support for LumberFi's NetSuite ERP integrations. This role requires deep expertise in NetSuite's architecture, SuiteScript, RESTlet/SuiteTalk APIs, and construction industry business processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical implementation and customer success, ensuring smooth data flows between LumberFi and NetSuite systems.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation & Integration:

Execute end-to-end NetSuite integration implementations for construction industry clients, including requirement gathering, data mapping, configuration, testing, and go-live support

Design and configure bi-directional data synchronization workflows between LumberFi and NetSuite for timesheets, payroll, employees, projects, cost codes, job costs, and GL journal entries

Implement NetSuite modules including Financial Management, Project Accounting, Advanced Projects, Job Costing, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Expense Management

Develop and configure SuiteScript including RESTlets, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and Map/Reduce Scripts to support automated integration scenarios

Set up and maintain NetSuite integrations using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), RESTlets, CSV imports, SuiteFlow workflows, and custom integration endpoints

Configure NetSuite saved searches, custom records, custom fields, and forms to support integration requirements and business logic

Implement NetSuite construction-specific customizations including job costing structures, project billing, WIP tracking, and revenue recognition

Technical Configuration & Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues including OAuth/Token-based authentication failures, data synchronization errors, GL journal posting problems, and job cost allocation failures

Analyze NetSuite's data model, record types, and API responses to diagnose integration failures and optimize data flows

Create and maintain entity mapping documentation between LumberFi's data model and NetSuite's record structure (employees, projects, customers, vendors, journal entries)

Monitor integration performance through CloudWatch logs, NetSuite system logs, and execution logs, proactively identifying and resolving issues

Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, and governance limit management for robust integration operations

Debug NetSuite-specific integration challenges including subsidiaries/multi-book accounting, intercompany transactions, class/department/location segmentation, and custom segment tracking

Optimize SuiteScript performance and manage governance limits (SSU usage, search limits, and API call limits)

Customer Support & Documentation:

Provide technical support to customers during and after NetSuite implementation, serving as the primary point of contact for integration-related questions

Create comprehensive integration playbooks, user guides, and API documentation for customer onboarding and NetSuite configuration

Conduct training sessions for customers on NetSuite integration workflows, saved search configuration, custom field setup, and best practices

Collaborate with customers to understand their unique business requirements, subsidiary structures, and multi-entity accounting needs

Design and document custom integration workflows tailored to specific customer needs, especially around construction-specific requirements and project accounting

Data Management & Quality:

Manage data migration from legacy systems to NetSuite using CSV imports, SuiteScript data transformations, and ETL processes

Ensure data integrity across systems by implementing validation rules, workflows, and conducting thorough testing of critical construction data (projects, cost codes, job assignments, union classifications)

Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing, and issue resolution before go-live

Develop saved searches and SuiteAnalytics queries for data analysis, audit trails, and troubleshooting integration issues

Maintain data synchronization accuracy for critical entities including employees, timesheets, projects, customers, vendors, journal entries, and payroll data

Validate GL journal entries, subsidiary allocations, class/department assignments, and project cost postings to ensure accurate financial reporting

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with LumberFi's engineering team to enhance integration capabilities and resolve technical issues

Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to triage and resolve customer tickets efficiently

Partner with internal stakeholders to document API requirements and integration specifications

Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration architecture and customer onboarding processes

Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback on integration design and implementation

Coordinate with NetSuite support teams and Solution Providers when necessary to resolve platform-specific issues
