Key Responsibilities

Platform Management

• NetIQ Suite Administration:

  Implement best practices for installing, configuring, patching and upgrading NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, Identity Governance & Privileged Access Manager.
  

• Onboarding & Integration:

  Integrate new business applications and IT systems into the NetIQ IAM/PAM solutions.
  

• Operational Support:

  Provide 2nd/3rd-line support, troubleshooting and incident resolution for NetIQ components and interfaces.
  

• Change & Patch Management:

  Coordinate with service providers to apply NetIQ updates, test for side-effects, and roll out patches/upgrades.
  

• Feature Design:

  Contribute to conception & design of new NetIQ features or custom integrations as requested by the business.
  

• Projects & Audits:

  Participate in IAM/PAM projects and audit readiness activities focused on NetIQ deployments.
  

Platform Enrichment

• Custom Workflows & Scripting:

  Develop and maintain business workflows, approvals and provisioning processes in NetIQ, using PowerShell, Python, VBScript or Bash.
  

• Access Governance:

  Streamline user provisioning and recertification campaigns within NetIQ Identity Governance.
  

• Application Onboarding:

  Configure connectors and tune integration parameters for each new application in NetIQ Identity Manager.
  

Reporting & Quality

• Automation & Reporting:

  Build and automate reports (via NetIQ Reporting Engine or custom scripts) for provisioning metrics, entitlement reviews, and privileged session audits.
  

• Audit & Compliance:

  Support internal/external audits on NetIQ components, access controls and privileged access policies.
  

• Knowledge Sharing:

  Coach colleagues on NetIQ features and encourage collaboration across the IAM/PAM team.
  

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Bachelors/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
  

• NetIQ Expertise:

  Hands-on experience ( 2 years) administering NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, Identity Governance and Privileged Access Manager.
  
• Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, VBScript or Bash.
  
• Strong directory services knowledge (LDAP, Active Directory).
  
• Web protocols & technologies: SOAP, REST, Java, OIDC/OAuth2.
  
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server (2016+).
  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT security or IAM/PAM roles.
  
• Excellent English; Dutch/French is a plus.
