NetApp Storage Engineer

We are looking for an experienced NetApp Storage Engineer on a freelance basis who will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting NetApp storage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement NetApp storage solutions according to business requirements.
• Configure, manage, and monitor NetApp FAS or AFF systems (NAS/SAN).
• Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, snapshots, replication, and backup management.
• Troubleshoot storage issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate storage with servers, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Ensure data protection, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Provide documentation and technical guidance on storage best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with NetApp storage systems (ONTAP, FAS, AFF).
• Strong understanding of SAN and NAS environments.
• Knowledge of storage protocols: NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC.
• Experience in performance tuning, backup, and recovery operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
