1. Should have knowledge on the products below.

• NetApp Ontap Storage Administrator /Data Administrator
• Hitachi Administrator
• Pure Storage administrators.
• Cisco MDS SAN Switches /Brocade Switches.

2. Job Summary

• Should have good knowledge on SAN & NAS technologies.
• Thorough understanding of SAN and NAS over WAN and LAN
• Experience in managing Hitachi Enterprise and Modular arrays
• Storage technology services including services for the all-disk Storage subsystems
• (SAN attached, NAS, unified storage, iSCSI, CAS, flash storage, MF object storage,
• etc.), automatic and manual tape, virtual tape, optical disk, Storage virtualization
• technologies and other Storage Software support at all Customer Sites
• Storage hardware Lifecycle management and maintenance.
• log collection and analysis.
• performance and utilization data collection.
• hardware, Software, Component and Services Monitoring.
• Storage Connectivity such as Power-path, Multi-Path IO (

  MPIO

  ) and iSCSI;
• out of band access for lights out operation (“

  LOM

  ”);
• remote or local replication and/or mirroring or snapshots;
• offsite Storage management for removable storage media;
• NAS Systems and file shares.
• Storage Software and Firmware Lifecycle management, Upgrades, patches and evolution; and Software / Firmware license management.

3. Responsibilities

• Operate in a 24/7/365 environment
• Monitor and resolve customer issues and problem-solve, learn and create your own mechanisms for resolving issues and most importantly, communicate effectively with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Communicate effectively with attention to detail and organizational awareness; have the ability to prioritize multiple objectives in order to meet compliance objectives.
• Responsible incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution per policies and procedures and escalate to the next level on a timely manner.
• Participates in various working groups and boards related to process improvement and change authorization
• Interfaces with end users and customers as required
• Willingness to work flexible hours as demands may require evening, night and weekend work.
