As a Senior Backend Engineer at GlobalLogic, you will play a crucial role in architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services for the new work management platform. Your expertise in .NET ecosystem, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies will be essential in driving the continuous improvement of the codebase. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and develop scalable, performant, and secure backend services using .NET (C#) for the work management platform. - Implement sophisticated business logic using microservices and well-structured monolithic architectures. - Build highly reactive, asynchronous applications using event-driven patterns with Kafka or Azure Service Bus. - Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate ambiguous requirements into elegant technical solutions. - Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure robust design and complete testability. - Take ownership of quality assurance across services by achieving comprehensive code coverage and implementing Contract Testing (Pact). - Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to deploy highly available applications on Microsoft Azure. - Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to support the multi-cloud strategy. - Help plan and implement disaster recovery environments across AWS and Google Cloud. **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET, asynchronous programming, and modern framework features. - Proven experience in designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures. - Hands-on experience with message brokers (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or similar). - Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes for production deployments. - Professional experience deploying and managing applications on Azure. - Strong SQL database expertise (Preferred is MongoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). - Deep commitment to Test-Driven Development and quality-first engineering. **Additional Details about GlobalLogic:** GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is a trusted digital engineering partner known for its impact on clients worldwide.
