Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of applications built using C#, ASP.NET, PowerBuilder, and SQL Server.
Provide architectural direction and hands-on technical leadership for both legacy and modernized applications.
Design, develop, and enhance responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, Telerik, and modern front-end best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Drive modernization efforts from PowerBuilder to .NET-based platforms and guide technical decision-making.
Ensure adherence to security, performance, scalability, and maintainability best practices.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies.
Primary Skills Required
Languages & Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC), .NET Framework 4.8+
Legacy Technologies: PowerBuilder (classic and/or .NET-based)
Front-End: JavaScript, Telerik UI controls, HTML5, CSS3
Database: Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexing)
Secondary Skills
Web service integration (REST/SOAP)
Source control tools (Git, TFS)
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, release pipelines)
Reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports)
Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Exposure to cloud services like Azure (optional)
