Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Nephrologist to join our medical team. The specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing kidney-related disorders, overseeing dialysis units, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney diseases, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and related conditions.
• Supervise and manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in the hospital’s dialysis unit.
• Assess and prepare patients for kidney transplantation, and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, lifestyle plans, and therapies to improve renal health.
• Order and interpret diagnostic investigations (e.g., renal biopsies, imaging, lab tests).
• Collaborate with urologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and other specialists for integrated patient management.
• Educate patients and families about kidney health, dialysis management, and preventive care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in academic, training, and research activities within the hospital.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine.
• DM/DNB in Nephrology (mandatory).
• Valid registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in nephrology practice (dialysis and transplant preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
