Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an NDT Level 2 IRATA Level 1 professional located in Tamil Nadu, India. The individual will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on wind turbines, including inspections, maintenance checks, and testing to ensure the structural integrity and safety of components. Responsibilities also include working at heights using rope access techniques in compliance with IRATA Level 1 standards, preparing detailed inspection reports, and collaborating with the team to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to quality and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, especially for NDT Level 2 certification.
  • Expertise in rope access methodologies and standards, specifically IRATA Level 1 certification.
  • Strong skills in documentation and report preparation related to testing and inspections.
  • Focus on safety protocols, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work at height in varying weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of wind turbine maintenance and operation is an added advantage.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues on-site.
  • Relevant certifications or training in NDT Level 2 and IRATA Level 1 are mandatory requirements.
