We are hiring for Technical Head for our Marine for our client .

Job Title Manager- Head-Technical

The Head - Technical will oversee all technical operations related to the repair, installation, and maintenance of electronic equipment in the communication and navigation sectors. This role includes supervising engineers, providing technical guidance, ensuring project efficiency, and maintaining high-quality service standards

Main Responsibilities:

1. Technical Supervision & Guidance

  • Lead and provide technical expertise to a team of engineers in the repair, installation, and maintenance of electronic equipmentin the communication and navigation segment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance technical skills and ensure up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain operational efficiency.

2. Project Management

  • Plan and oversee the execution of service projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor progress, allocate resources effectively, and resolve any project-related challenges.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for all installations and repairs.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interact with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards in service delivery.
  • Provide detailed technical reports and updates to stakeholders as required.

4. Quality Control

  • Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols for all technical operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and completed work to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

5. Team Management

  • Mentor and develop the engineering team to improve technical capabilities and foster career growth.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and address performance gaps.

6. Operational Efficiency

  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and optimize resource utilization.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in electronic communication and navigation technologies

Desired Profile:

Qualification :B.E. / B. Tech./ Dip. Electronics

Experience:10 -15 years of relevant work experience in marine electronics

At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

Strong planning and resource allocation capabilities.

Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
