Naval Architect

Job description:

The candidate will be a Naval Architect assisting naval architects as required. He/she shall also be able to review/comment on the work done.

• Strong budgeting and planning skills.
• Have a general understanding of the drawing department and review.
• Conduct stability analyses of ships.
• Study design proposals and specifications to establish basic characteristics of craft, such as size, weight, speed, propulsion, displacement, and draft.
• Ensuring that the design is economical and functional and that the vessel or structure is safe and seaworthy.
• Making sure that the work done meets required international safety and quality standards.
• Participate in marketing campaigns and generate business leads.

1 year job experience is preferred as a Naval Architect. Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Naval Architecture or similar degree.

Must be a local candidate who needs to travel daily to office at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.
