National Head - Collections

As a Collections Strategy Development specialist, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective strategies to ensure timely recovery of the company's loan portfolios. You will create tailored collection plans for different customer segments, such as new customers and high-risk customers. In addition to strategy development, you will lead, mentor, and manage the collections team at a national level. This includes setting targets, evaluating team performance, and overseeing recruitment and training of new collections personnel. To optimize the collection process, you will continuously assess and improve collection processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction. Implementing technology solutions like automated reminders and CRM systems will be crucial to streamline collections efforts. Monitoring and assessing credit risk of loan portfolios, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines are also key aspects of the role. You will engage with high-risk or complex cases to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize defaults. Analyzing data for performance measurement, identifying trends, and forecasting future collection needs will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with risk, credit, operations, legal, product, and tech teams to handle complex cases, optimize collection experience, and integrate best practices into digital platforms will also be required. In case of legal actions for debt recovery, you will oversee the legal recovery process, coordinate with external agencies, legal teams, and courts. Managing relationships with third-party debt collection agencies and setting financial targets for collection efforts will also be part of your role to support business growth and profitability.,
