Role & responsibilities Role : Chemist Department : Food Laboratory Roles & Responsibilities : Conduct hands-on chemical analysis of food samples across all major categories (e.g., dairy, cereals, beverages, oils, processed foods, etc.). Ensure compliance with testing protocols as per FSSAI, ISO/IEC 17025, and other relevant standards. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as UV-Vis spectrophotometers, tintometers, protein analyzers, etc., used in food testing. Perform routine quality checks and method validation as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Must have prior experience working in an NABL-accredited food testing laboratory. Participate in at least two NABL audits and support audit preparedness. Maintain and update NABL documentation, including test records, equipment calibration logs, and intermediate checks. Maintenance of audit records and participation in internal audits and proficiency testing (PT) programs. Follow good laboratory practices (GLP) and safety protocols. Role & responsibilities The Central Laboratory Manager will lead and manage operations of the Central Lab at Ankura Hospital, ensuring standardized, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic services across all Ankura Hospital branches. This role involves managing centralized testing, maintaining NABL/NABH compliance, streamlining inter-branch sample logistics, and ensuring consistency in lab quality, TAT, and reporting standards across the network. Central Lab Oversight: Manage the core operations of Ankuras Central Lab, overseeing all major diagnostic modalities (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Pathology, Immunology, etc.). Ensure timely processing and reporting of samples received from all Ankura locations. Maintain a centralized reporting dashboard for lab performance across branches. Multi-Location Coordination: Work closely with Lab Technologists, Quality Leads, and Unit Heads across branches to ensure sample collection, transportation, and reporting are aligned with SLAs. Monitor and audit branch labs to ensure sample integrity, documentation accuracy, and protocol adherence before dispatch to the Central Lab. Act as the single point of contact for all lab-related escalations across units. Quality & Accreditation Management: Ensure that the Central Lab complies with NABL standards and maintains readiness for surveillance audits. Harmonize SOPs across branches for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes. Implement internal quality control (IQC) and participate in EQAS programs for inter-lab accuracy checks. Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of senior technologists, quality officers, phlebotomy coordinators, and support staff at the Central Lab. Conduct regular training and assessments to upgrade skills of lab teams across units. Drive a culture of process discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement. Technology & LIS Oversight: Oversee the implementation and usage of LIS(Laboratory Information System) across branches and central lab. Sample Logistics & Inventory: Develop and manage an efficient sample transportation system from branches to the Central Lab, with TAT adherence. Ensure optimal inventory of reagents, consumables, and supplies at the central lab and monitor reorder levels across units. Streamline vendor relationships and procurement coordination with central supply chain team. You will be responsible for conducting lab testing and analysis in a Pharma Laboratory located in Gurugram. The ideal candidate should possess an MSc in Chemistry, B.Pharma, or a related field with 2 to 10 years of experience. Your main duties will include chemical testing of raw materials, finished products, cosmetics, Ayurveda, Sidha, and Unani products. You should also have knowledge and experience in handling instruments such as HPLC, GC, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, and Dissolution equipment. Additionally, you will be required to maintain documentation in accordance with NABL Audit standards. Must have experience in testing electric wires and cables as per IS 694 . Must have hands-on experience with testing procedures as per IS 10810 test methods Added advantage if have experience in testing for following IS standards : IS 2465, IS 17505, IS 17048, IS 17293, IS 1293) Conduct regular inspections and quality audits.
