Music Teacher

As a Music Teacher, your role involves instructing students in practical methods and theory of general music, singing, and playing musical instruments. You will be responsible for teaching singing to students from beginner to advanced levels, incorporating musical instruments and movement in lessons, and planning and implementing a program of instruction and lesson plans. Additionally, you will prepare students for school concerts and planned music experiences, explain different styles and genres of music, and prepare students for practical exams. Building a Music Band of students and suggesting additions and improvements in the curriculum are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will coordinate with staff members in organizing extracurricular activities, build relationships, and mentor students. Key Responsibilities: - Instruct students in practical methods and theory of general music, singing, and playing musical instruments - Teach singing from beginner to advanced levels - Incorporate musical instruments and movement in lessons - Plan and implement a program of instruction and lesson plans - Prepare students for school concerts and planned music experiences - Explain different styles and genres of music - Prepare students for practical exams - Build a Music Band of students - Suggest additions and improvements in the curriculum - Coordinate with staff members in organizing extracurricular activities - Build relationships and mentor students Qualification Required: - Freshers to 2 years of experience - Preferable Graduate or PG OR Diploma in Music - Excellent communication skills - Knowledge of playing various musical instruments - Good interpersonal skills - Passion for music and high patience levels - Ability to assess students' potential and skills - Ability to conduct extracurricular activities and musical performances Please note that this job is Full-time and Permanent with a Morning shift schedule. The preferred education qualification is Bachelor's degree, and candidates with 1 year of total work experience are preferred. If you can join on an immediate basis, it will be an advantage for this role.
