Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment and hotel facilities are in good working condition.
Respond promptly to guest requests and engineering-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to guest comfort.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and safe condition.
Support energy-saving initiatives and adhere to sustainability practices as per IHG guidelines.
Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and fire prevention policies.
Maintain daily logbooks, records of maintenance activities, and inventory of spare parts.
Assist in capital projects, refurbishment, and minor renovations when required.
Cooperate with other departments to deliver seamless guest service.

Job Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
Minimum 2 4 years of experience in hotel/ facility maintenance or a similar role.
Multi-skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills in English and local language.
Physically fit to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and fire-life-safety systems.
