Multicloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS & Azure)

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
  
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, Load Balancers, Storage Gateway, DMS).
  
• Strong knowledge of Azure (Storage Accounts, SQL Managed Instance, SQL Database, Azure Monitor, ARM).
  
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and OEM.
  
• Ensure cloud security best practices including IAM role management and encryption.
  

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS and Azure resource provisioning.
  
• Work with AWS CloudFormation templates and Azure Resource Manager.
  
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud and database infrastructure.
  
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
  
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates into pipelines.
  

CI/CD & Scripting

• Manage Jenkins environments including plugin management, pipeline administration, and security configurations.
  
• Write automation scripts using Shell and Python (Java/Bash/Groovy preferred).
  
• Automate database provisioning, patching, and maintenance tasks.
  

Monitoring & Performance Management

• Configure and manage monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Oracle Enterprise Manager).
  
• Set up alerts, alarms, and dashboards for performance and reliability visibility.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Cloud Platforms:

  AWS, Azure

• IaC Tools:

  Terraform (hands-on), CloudFormation, ARM

• CI/CD:

  Jenkins, Bitbucket

• Scripting:

  Shell, Python (mandatory); Java/Bash/Groovy (preferred)

• OS & Networking:

  Linux CLI, networking fundamentals, security group management

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure (IaC/DevOps/Cloud), Terraform Associate
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  
• 10+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and automation
