MS Specialist & Transmission Expert

Role Overview: As an MS Specialist & Transmission Expert, you will be responsible for performing Fault and Configuration management activities to serve the customer directly or through customer interface, under supervision and following defined procedures. Your role will involve executing technical tasks according to defined procedures and actively developing competences. You are expected to have excellent knowledge and understanding of telecom network and elements, detailed understanding of transmission topology, Microwave, fiber and IPRAN technology, and good exposure and hands-on experience in various muxes and DWDMs. Additionally, you will need to have expert knowledge of OTN/Ethernet and IP technology used in the Transmission Domain, as well as experience in remote delivery and field team interactions. Key Responsibilities: - Execute technical tasks according to defined procedures - Develop competences actively - Have excellent knowledge and understanding of telecom network and elements - Demonstrate detailed understanding of transmission topology, Microwave, fiber and IPRAN technology - Possess good exposure and hands-on experience in Marconi, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Philips muxes, Nokia, Ciena DWDMs - Exhibit expert knowledge of OTN/Ethernet and IP technology in Transmission Domain - Engage in troubleshooting and configuration in remote delivery and field team interactions - Understand and troubleshoot TXN interfaces of Mobile Networks IuB/IuCs, IuPS, GB, Abis Ater in TDM and Packet Environment - Have hands-on experience on IPRAN technology and stitched network - Collaborate with cross-functional domains like Radio, Core, IP - Understand trouble tickets life cycle and successfully close tickets to achieve SLA - Coordinate with field team until closure of faults - Coordinate with 3rd party fiber, Infra Provider, and Field Team to clear alarms - Ability to resolve remotely and guide teams on the ground - Perform Change activities as asked by the customer - Understand customer requirements and act accordingly in the shortest possible time Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.
