As an MS Specialist & Transmission Expert, you will be responsible for performing Fault and Configuration management activities to serve customers directly or through customer interface, following defined procedures and under supervision. Your key responsibilities include executing technical tasks according to defined procedures, actively developing competences, and ensuring excellent knowledge and understanding of telecom networks and elements. You should have a detailed understanding of transmission topology, including Microwave, fiber, and IPRAN technology. Your expertise should extend to equipment such as Marconi, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Philips muxes, Nokia, and Ciena DWDMs, with a strong analytical understanding of NMS. Additionally, you are expected to possess expert knowledge of OTN/Ethernet and IP technology in the Transmission Domain. Experience in remote delivery and field team interactions for troubleshooting and configuration is essential. You should also have a good understanding of TXN interfaces of Mobile Networks in TDM and Packet Environment. Hands-on experience with IPRAN technology and stitched networks is desired, along with the ability to interact with cross-functional domains like Radio, Core, and IP. Your role will involve understanding the trouble ticket lifecycle, successful closure of tickets to achieve SLAs, coordination with field teams and 3rd party providers, and the ability to resolve issues remotely while guiding on-ground teams. Change activities as requested by customers should be performed promptly, aligning with customer requirements effectively. In terms of behavioral skills, you should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong interpersonal skills to influence and motivate, good documentation skills for technical data, and effective presentation skills. Availability 24/7 for both the team and clients, willingness to work during off hours, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to coordinate and motivate teams are critical. Your general abilities should include a working familiarity with NMS tools and ticketing tools, self-driven productivity with minimal direction, the capacity to work in a fast-paced, technical, cross-functional environment, and strong presentation and communication skills. The ideal candidate will hold a B.E/B.Tech. degree from a reputed university with 4-8 years of experience in the relevant field, specifically as an L2 Expert.,

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation and operations of the Mizo Fibre Grid Network (MFGN) in Mizoram. The role involves overseeing planning, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of an Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) backbone using OPGW and ADSS technologies across 79 Points of Presence (PoPs) spanning 11 districts and 28 blocks. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Lead the development and execution of the detailed project plan , aligning with RFP timelines and milestones. Manage the route survey , geo-tagging of assets and submission of design documents. Ensure timely procurement, delivery and installation of materials as per BoM and approved design. Coordinate implementation of OPGW/ADSS fibre infrastructure and connectivity to HQs/substations. Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead a multidisciplinary team including design engineers, field technicians and subcontractors. Serve as the primary point of contact with ZENICS, P&E department, Railtel and other stakeholders. Ensure coordination with the OEM, Distributor, Sub-vendors and enforce contractual obligations. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to ZENICS Service Level Agreements (SLAs) , quality standards and safety protocols. Manage documentation related to survey reports, as-built drawings, test reports and acceptance criteria. Facilitate acceptance testing (AT/UAT) and support handover to the designated authority. Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee the Remote Fibre Monitoring System (RFMS) deployment and network health monitoring. Track project KPIs, risks and mitigation plans; report weekly/monthly progress to internal and external stakeholders. Prepare audit/compliance reports as required by ZENICS. Operations & Maintenance: Manage the 3-year post-deployment O&M phase , ensuring 24x7 uptime and prompt fault rectification (MTTR compliance). Supervise manpower deployment across sites for operational support and preventive maintenance. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or related field) PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in telecom/optical fibre infrastructure projects. At least 2 large-scale OFC/OPGW-based implementations completed as a Project Manager. Experience working with Government ICT/e-governance projects is desirable. Skills: Strong understanding of OFC deployment , ADSS, OPGW, splicing, RFMS, EMS/NMS tools. Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management tools. Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle field operations in hilly, remote and geographically challenging terrain. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively within Mizoram. Knowledge of local conditions and terrain will be an added advantage. Proven track record in handling government and public-sector IT infrastructure rollout.
