What will your job look like You will perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities. You will perform link budget analysis, designs criteria and performs traffic analysis. You will ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration You will carry out area and site surveys to determine RF equipment location and antenna orientation. You will provide network optimization analysis and recommendations using a combination of drive data and network statistics. You will carry out drive testing activities to collect network data. You will provide post processing analysis of the drive data. You will provide site candidate evaluations. You will provide site build verifications and acceptance. All you need is... 1. Develop and implement the long-term strategic vision for the network operations department. This includes defining goals, objectives, and performance metrics aligned with the organization's overall business objectives. 2. Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for network infrastructure improvements and make recommendations for investments in equipment, software, and resources. 3. Responsible for managing and leading the network operations team. This involves hiring and onboarding new team members, setting performance goals and expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and providing coaching and mentoring to foster professional growth. 4. Allocate resources effectively, delegate responsibilities, and ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties. 5. Oversee the design and implementation of network architectures that meet the organization's requirements for performance, scalability, and security. 6. Work closely with network engineers and architects to evaluate and select appropriate network technologies, hardware, and software solutions. 7. Ensure that network designs adhere to industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements. 8.Responsible for managing the budget for network operations. 9. This includes forecasting, planning, and allocating resources effectively to support ongoing operations, maintenance, and upgrades. 10. Primary Skills 2 to 4 years experienced Linux certified engineer having relevant experience in DNS/DHCP server on UNIX platform. Knowledge of Lucent/NOKIA QIP or other IP Management product will be added advantage. Linux operating system; installation; configuration & trouble shooting of OS related issues. Good understanding of Linux file system; backup and restoration. Secondary Skills Patch management and up gradation of Linux server. Good knowledge of shell scripting; must be able to read; debug and understand shell scripts. Strong understanding of TCP/IP; DNS and DHCP & NTP protocols Good knowledge of subnetting and network fundamentals. About The Role : L2 support2 to 4 years experienced Linux certified engineer having relevant experience in DNS/DHCP server on UNIX platform. Knowledge of Nokia QIP or other IP Management product will be added advantage. Must be open for 24x7 operations. Able to handle incident tickets and service requests independently.
