Industry & Sector:

• Perform elective and emergency laparoscopic surgeries including cholecystectomy, hernia repair, appendectomy, and GI procedures with best-in-class outcomes.
• Lead pre-operative evaluation, informed consent, intra-operative decision-making, and post-operative follow-up ensuring evidence-based patient care.
• Collaborate with anaesthesiology, nursing, and critical care teams to optimise peri-operative protocols and enhance patient safety.
• Supervise and train residents, fellows, and OT staff in minimally invasive techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Contribute to hospital quality assurance programmes, morbidity-mortality reviews, and accreditation audits.
• Engage in outreach camps, CME events, and digital health initiatives to expand surgical services footprint.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have MS or DNB in General Surgery with recognised laparoscopic training.
• Must-Have Minimum 5 years independent operative experience and 1000+ documented laparoscopic cases.
• Must-Have Valid MCI or state medical council registration and indemnity cover.
• Preferred Fellowship in Minimal Access or Bariatric Surgery.
• Preferred Exposure to robotic or single-port platforms.
• Preferred Peer-reviewed publications or formal teaching appointments.
