Experience -

  •     A minimum of 4+ years of experience in application support or similar positions. - Mandatory
    •    A solid comprehension of application architectures and databases is essential, with a preference for PostgreSQL expertise. - Mandatory•    Candidates should possess proficiency in Linux, Java, MQ, and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow. -Mandatory•    Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are necessary. -Desirable•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively. -Mandatory

Knowledge -

  •     A thorough understanding of operating systems like Linux and its command line interfaces and software applications is crucial for effectively troubleshooting and maintaining applications. - Desirable
    •    Strong understanding of application architecture is necessary. - Mandatory•    Strong analytical abilities are essential for identifying and resolving issues that may affect application performance or efficiency. - Mandatory•    Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively is vital for managing multiple issues and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. - Desirable•    Proficient communication skills are important for engaging with team members, IT professionals, and users, facilitating clear explanations of technical concepts. - Mandatory•    Strong customer service skills are required to address user inquiries promptly and effectively. - Mandatory•    Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, is advantageous for understanding and troubleshooting code. - Desirable•    Experience with database management and data analysis tools is beneficial for handling and interpreting application-related data. Desirable•    The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential for partnering with other engineers and IT professionals to provide optimal application support. - Mandatory•    Basic Knowledge for IBM MQ: (Mandatory) •    Experience with IBM MQ: Familiarity with IBM MQ installation, configuration, and administration.•    MQ Queue Management: Ability to create and manage queues, topics, channels, and listeners in MQ.•    Message Handling: Understanding of message queuing principles, including message persistence, transactions, and error handling.

Technical Skills -

  •     Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux) to troubleshoot and support applications. - Mandatory
    •    Familiarity with languages commonly used in application development (e.g., Java, JavaScript) to understand code behavior and assist in debugging. - Mandatory•    Understanding of SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for querying and troubleshooting datarelated issues. - Mandatory•    Familiarity with MS Office tools like (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel) - Mandatory, experince with IBM MQ interfaces - mandatory.
