Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent behavior in digital lending transactions.
• Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activities, including but not limited to identity theft, account takeovers, and fraudulent loan applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk Management, Compliance, and IT Security to implement effective fraud prevention strategies and controls.
• Develop and maintain fraud detection models and algorithms, leveraging tools such as SQL and Python to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory developments in fraud detection and prevention within the Fintech/Banking/NBFC sectors.
• Prepare and present regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Finance.
• 3-4 years of experience in fraud detection/prevention roles within the Fintech/Banking/NBFC industry, with a focus on digital lending.
• Strong technical skills including proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Solid understanding of digital lending processes, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with fraud detection tools and platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
